Community Potluck Dialogues

Community Potluck Dialogues is a monthly get-together filled with gifts of hospitality and conversation with the goal of relationship building. Relationship building in communities and during dinner conversations can be an area where we can have an impact that matters in both the short and long term – an impact that moves toward authentic connections, greater awareness of others, and inspiration to make changes within the self and/or community.

Through these dialogues, communities can be built and engaged in order to develop relationships based on mutual respect and trust. After all, the sharing of a meal is a sacred space where ripples of change can occur.

When we take time to share aspects about ourselves or about our histories, we create space for the deepening of relationships, of trust, and of understanding.

We will engage in meaningful conversations based on a topic. This month's topic will center around false positivity. Each person will have a question he/she will be asked around this topic..

Our goal is to keep this offering small and intimate in order for deep connection. Therefore, this offering is limited to 10 people. The first 10 people to RSVP( email thehivebend@gmail.com to register) will have a spot. If you need to change your RSVP please do so asap, so another can fill your spot. Email thehivebend@gmail.com

Clearing Ceremony

* Six spots only - reservation required *

Join local healer Aowyn Jones for a potent healing experience to clear energetic blockages, in support of your personal alignment, health and wellbeing.

The intention for this ceremony is to clear energetic blockages. Blockages may negatively affect mood, behavior, relationships, work, motivation, mental clarity, physical health, ability to rest, sense of satisfaction, decision making, sense of trust, lovingness, or other aspects of self and life. Homework will be given (before and after the ceremony) to assist the process.

Format:
Aowyn creates a sacred container for each ceremony, calling in our spirit helpers for support and gently guiding you toward your unique inner experience. Your conscious participation and intention are what invoke the medicine. Aowyn will collaborate with Spirit to deliver the healing through sacred song, channeled sound and other sound tools, and hands-on work. You'll be guided to participate in moving the energy using vision, sensation, breath and/or sound.

Foundations for Growing Your Intuition

I've decided to teach a series of foundational classes beginning with developing one's intuition. I've practiced using these foundational steps and skills myself to sharpen my inner compass which has helped me in my work and personal life.

I want you to have this information so you too can sharpen and develop your innate intuitive compass. There will be 2 or 3 classes in each foundation series and I will be clearer on this shortly however I wanted to put this up now so you can reserve your spot if you are interested.

I will take 12 students for the series on Intuition. I welcome and encourage those who are NOT well versed on this topic and are looking to grow, explore and are wanting to learn how to hear, feel and use their gifts (yes, you have gifts) to better their lives, relationships and lessen the stresses over decision making and just general life. These will deepen your awakening into your own spiritual growth which in turn ripples out and makes everyone's life better.

I will fine tune the description over the next week. Right now I have two classes and am working on a third in this Intuition series.

If you've always been curious about how to tune in and sharpen that little voice, this is for you! Stay tuned. There will be 2 - 3 classes in each topic and the Intuition series is the first of the classes being taught.

If you are interested, please put your email below and I will email you details sometime soon in the first week of July. If you have any questions in the meantime, please email me, or post your question below. I'm so excited to share this information with you!

Fill Your Cup: A Weekend for Educators in Bend Oregon

You've heard the phrase: you can't give from an empty cup?

In this workshop, you'll learn the neuroscience of resiliency and experience practical tools you can use right away to manage stress and nurture your inner resiliency.

WHO IS THIS TRAINING MOST APPROPRIATE FOR?
Educators, therapists, medical professionals, massage therapists - anyone in a profession that requires you to be balanced mentally and emotionally to care for others. To promote an optimal environment for learning, sharing, and self-nurturing, registration is limited to 15 participants.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO LEARN?
You'll learn the neuroscience behind stress and resiliency. From this understanding of how your nervous system reacts to stressors, you'll have the opportunity to practice strategies for balancing this system for optimal wellness. No previous experience or training is required to attend, although an interest in neuroscience and somatic (or body) oriented practices for resiliency will likely equal more satisfaction in the training.

WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?
Friday, 7-9p | introductory activities
Saturday, 9a-5p | AM/neuroscience with Jenifer, PM/tools & processing with Shanti
Sunday, 9a-4p | AM/neuroscience & tools with Jenifer, PM/tools & processing with Shanti

WHERE DOES THE WORKSHOP TAKE PLACE?
We're in sunny Bend Oregon for this weekend of learning and nurturing. Our specific location is at The Hive, 205 NW Franklin Ave. Not local? We're available to help connect you with reliable, inexpensive places to stay so you can focus on enjoying your trip.

INSTRUCTORS
Your guides for this weekend are Jenifer Trivelli, MS RYT and Shanti O'Connor, MS RYT. Jenifer & Shanti obtained master's degrees in Counseling together a decade ago, and have each pursued individual (though somewhat parallel) post-graduate training in yoga, somatic theories of healing, trauma resolution and mental/emotional resiliency. They also have experience working with youth, families, and educators - a combination of three decades. You'll glean the best of what they have to offer from their extensive experience and training in the subject of nurturing resiliency.

Once our body is in a natural state of calm we will use crystals, oils, singing bowls, hands on energy healing, and shamanic drumming or hemi-sync music will be used during our time together to help guide and clear the energetic field.

Time permitting, we will process and talk about what came up during our time together.

Community Potluck Dialogues

Community Potluck Dialogues

Community Potluck Dialogues is a monthly get-together filled with gifts of hospitality and conversation with the goal of relationship building. Relationship building in communities and during dinner conversations can be an area where we can have an impact that matters in both the short and long term – an impact that moves toward authentic connections, greater awareness of others, and inspiration to make changes within the self and/or community.

Through these dialogues, communities can be built and
engaged in order to develop relationships based on mutual
respect and trust. After all, the sharing of a meal is a sacred
space where ripples of change can occur.

When we take time to share aspects about ourselves
or about our histories, we create space for the deepening of
relationships, of trust, and of understanding.

We will engage in meaningful conversations based on a topic. This month's topic will center around community. Each person will have a question he/she will be asked around the topic of community.

High on Life Force

Introducing 'High on Life Force' - a new 1 hour and 15 minute class offered at The Hive every Friday morning at 10:15 am and Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm.

This class, co-taught by Katie Curtis and Katrina Rose has been designed to provide you with tools to cultivate, harness and direct your life force energy, so as to enhance your well-being on all levels. Using the inner technologies of kundalini yoga, breathwork, and mantra, we will align our bodies, breath, and minds toward unification with our True Self. Side effects may include whole body shaking or tingling, expanded states of consciousness, and a feeling of being one with the universe.

$11 suggested donation, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
