Connect. Collaborate. Heal.
We, at the Hive, have chosen these words to share who we are and our intentions for the Central Oregon community.
Connection is at the heart of what drives us. All services are relationship based. We believe that through connection we can provide the basis for an individual to feel safe. We know that once safety is established trust begins to blossom. As trust blossoms most people give their self the permission to heal.
At The Hive, collaboration is a concept that drives us because as a community we are more effective and powerful. We know we have a piece of the puzzle to offer, but when we collaborate with other professionals we have more answers. We believe that as a whole, many individuals coming together, we are more strong and effective. We each have a unique thread of healing we offer, but believe that there are many threads worth considering when on the path to healing.
We recognize that abundance is everywhere and is available to us and the community and know that when we share our resources and invite members from the community to share his/her resources all benefit.
We understand that the path to healing is a journey that is unique to each individual. More often than not healing is circular more than linear. That for most people true healing happens on all levels, mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical.
We recognize that each person has a blueprint for health and wellness. When we really tune in and get to know the individual we can help him/her discover this blueprint.
As practitioners it is our intention to connect a person to his/her own healing resources. Therefore, we see ourselves more as guides and teachers than healers. The client is the healer.
The Hive is a symbol we have chosen to represent our healing center. We were drawn to the Hive due to it's multi faceted meaning. For us the hive is a place where many come together with a shared vision of health and wellness. As a healing collective we all have worth, value, and a unique gift that only we can offer. We believe that what we have to offer is not only needed, it is vital. We support each other in this purpose and make room for each person to shine their unique light.
In an actual hive all bees have a purpose. All bees passionately perform her purpose with heart and clarity. Each does it for the greater good of the hive. This is the same for us at The Hive. We are in service to the greater good of each individual, the community, and humanity. We know that each person is capable of healing his/her self, but might need a little direction to discover this.
Did you know honeybees are the primary pollinators for around 50 fruit and vegetable crops? But honeybees also provide us with another great gift. Inside each beehive is an exemplar of a community whose members succeed in working together to achieve shared goals. These little powerhouses have something to teach us about building smoothly functioning groups.
There is a common misunderstanding about honeybee colonies that it is governed by a benevolent dictator, the Queen Bee. Yes, the Queen lies at the heart of the colony because a honeybee colony is an immense family of the mother and her thousands of progeny. It is also true that the worker bees are striving to ensure her survival and reproduction. However, the Queen's role is to reproduce around 1,500 eggs a day! Her job is quite consuming, so she is oblivious to the needs of her colony. The needs of the colony, the decision making of the colony falls collectively on the worker bees. Each worker bee is doing and acting on her own to serve the community. When decisions need to be made it falls on the collective, the worker bees, not the queen. That means thousands of bees, the worker bees, as a community are making the decisions that ensure their survival.
Sacred Geometry: Hexagon
The hexagon is a symbol of harmony and balance. It is found throughout nature. It is one of the principal governing patterns that is dominant in the natural world. It is also at the core of mankind as well. The hexagon is found in the structure of DNA. It is the formation of the chains that produce the double-helix marcomolecule.
In sacred geometry, the hexagon is thought of one of the most powerful and fascinating. It is found in many spiritual symbols such as the Star of David, The Tree of Life in the Kabbalah and the Hagal Rune composed by ancient tribes of northern Europe.
The Hexagon and Numerology
As we know hexagons have six sides. The symbolism behind number Six is legend. With Venus as its ruler, Six represents harmony, balance, sincerity, love, and truth. Six naturally reveals solutions for us in a calm, unfolding manner. We invoke the Six when we need delicate diplomacy when dealing with sensitive matters. The spiritual meaning of number Six also deals with enlightenment; specifically “lighting” our path in areas we require spiritual and mental balance. Sixes beckon us to administer compassion and consciously choose forgiveness in a situation.
